Remembering Ellensburg

Well the 2009 Ellensburg dates have come and gone. I don’t know about anyone else but I felt a huge void in my heart last week as I felt the absence of the conference. Even though Ellensburg wasn’t going to be a part of my plans this year, as it has been for so many years, I also still felt this emptiness just knowing that it wasn’t going on. The images of so many advocates gathered in one place to learn and celebrate is something that is cemented so strongly in my life now, and it is sad to know that it may not be around for the foreseeable future.
